    TREATMENT

    The super fine injections are performed with little/no discomfort during a 20-30 minute appointment without the need of local anaesthetic cream. There is minimal or no downtime, some bruising may occur after the treatment. Results are generally visible between 2 and 10 days after treatment and will last around 3-4 months.

Botulinum toxin is injected in small quantities into facial muscles and works by blocking the chemical signals which causes the muscles to contract.   • Anti-wrinkle injections create a temporary effect that can last anywhere from three to four months, depending on the dosage used.

  • A ultra-thin needle is used to performed the treatment so there is no pain associated with it, but if you are concerned about discomfort, a topical numbing cream is applied to the skin before beginning of the treatment.

  • While there is no real downtime or side effects associated with anti wrinkle injections, it is important to note that you may experience some bruising and swelling. You may also be able to see small pinprick marks at the injection site. This can be easily covered by makeup. There are no long-term side effects of having wrinkle injections, meaning patients can resume their usual activities straight away, and can also fly post-treatment. For best results, avoid massaging the area that has been treated and avoid exercise for 24 hours after treatment.

  • Results should be visible between 2 and 10 days generally. A follow up in 2 weeks may be required for the best outcome.

  • Signs of expression and the appearance of lines and wrinkles varies greatly from person to person, so it isn’t possible to state a ‘right’ age for antiwrinkle treatment. It is always important to consider each patient’s specific circumstances and concerns rather than thinking in terms of their age.
